DSCF5732DSCF5733While we were doing a story on fabric stores in NYC’s garment district today we ran into Phylicia Rashad, who played Mrs. Huxtable on The Cosby Show at Mood Fabrics 225 W 37th St.  She was very focused on what she had to accomplished, but allowed us to snap some pics of her picking out fabrics.

On a side note, when she addresses you her look and tone of voice is so captivating.  You get a sense of it through the TV, but in person it’s much more pronounced.  Guess that’s the acting skills.

What a day, running into the famous (everyone’s mom) Ms. Phylicia Rashad! Did she ever reveal what type of project she is working on, or any specific interests in fashion?
