Quick Behind the Scenes of the Making of a Chanel Coutour Piece

This is what I truly enjoy to watch and be a part of. I could watch things like this for hours. Check out how they prepare for the intricate beading and how they start the creation process.

They use the same supplies and dress forms used in school. There’s no difference in the beginnings of a creation whether you are in college or a coutour house. You’re always going to need muslin, twill tape, pins, and a dress form while making sure the center front line of the form is aligned with the grainline of the muslin.
