DSCF5859

These are some rough sketches I've been working on for a while now off and on. The inspiration was a leather baseball glove I found in my basement. Will try and think more about the construction of the details and clean the sketches up in the next few days.

Glove details.

DSCF5854

Leather strap from glove used as a cinch for the scarf. Have to think more about how the strap will be attached to the scarf.

DSCF5856

Still unsure on the sleeve opening construction.

DSCF5857

Probably will get rid of the yarn-dye rib knit and will just make it a solid rib knit.

DSCF5853

I wonder after years of wear will the "squared-off grommets" pull away from the fabric b/c of the constant belt pulling and tugging. Maybe shell fabric belt loops w/ some type of hardware atop will be better contruction wise.
